From 27 December 2020, the level 5 of PES is valid in Czech Republic (Czech anti-epidemic system), which means that the Villa Tugendhat is be closed to public. This means:


1. Villa Tugendhat is closed to public at least until 1 February 2021.

It's possible to reopen to public when the PES level is 3, 2 or 1. An overview of the restrictions arising from PES can be found HERE.

2. Tours of the building are cancelled from 18 December 2020 until at least 1 February 2021 inclusive.  

Clients with a purchased ticket will have their entrance fee refunded in full to the bank account from which the payment was made; all affected clients will receive an information email in the coming days.

3. Online ticket sales on the website.

At the moment the Villa Tugendhat ticket sale system is suspended.  The opening of the ticket sale is depending on the development of the epidemiological situation.

4. Information on entrance fee refund:

a) Tickets purchased for tours in the period 18 December 2020 – 1 February 2021

Villa Tugendhat is currently cancelling all tickets purchased for tours until 1 February 2021 (the date may change depending on future development). Visitors affected by this restriction will be contacted by our staff at the email or phone number they entered when purchasing the tickets. 

Admission will be automatically refunded in full until 25 January 2021 to the account from which the payment was made. In case your ticket was not returned, please contact colleague Dita Šmerdová, smerdova@spilberk.cz. Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer alternative dates for cancelled reservations.

 

b) Gift vouchers

The validity of a gift voucher is automatically extended until the end of 2021.

 

c) Tickets purchased for other events

The accompanying events at Villa Tugendhat, which were due to take place between 9 October 2020 –  1 February 2021 (even here the date may change depending on the current situation), will take place at an alternative date or will be cancelled. At the moment we're deciding together with the co-organizers of the respective cultural events. Our employees will contact you via email or phone, which has been registered when purchasing the tickets.

 

d) Tickets purchased for tours from 2 February 2021 and beyond

In case of negative epidemiological situation development Villa Tugendhat will cancel also tours beyond 1 February 2021. Clients with a valid ticket will be contacted by email on the adress they've registerted when buying tickets.

e) Educational programmes

These are cancelled until the end of January 2021. Registered groups will be contacted by Bc. Ludmila Haasová.

 

f) When will the be the tickets for Villa Tugendhat sold again?

The sale of tickets for any date is currently suspended, it will be resumed as soon as the PES is at level 3, 2 or 1.
