VILLA TUGENDHAT EXHIBITION IN MILAN

An exhibition about Villa Tugendhat which presents the history of the villa from its inception until today is open on 3 to 12 May 2016 in Milan’s Urban Center.

The exhibition will be opened on 2 May 2016 at 6 p.m., attended by the director of the Villa Tugendhat Ing. arch. Iveta Černá, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Milan, dr. Giorgio Franco Aletti and Milan’s deputy director for urban planning professor Alessandro Balducci.

During the exhibition, two films will be screened:

The Fate of Tugendhat, CR, 52 min, 2012
A documentary by director Rudolf Chudoba capturing not only the story of the famous Brno family, but also showing the history of the famous villa and its monument restoration.

Villa Tugendhat – Monument Restoration 2010–2012, CR, 34 min, 2014
Unique footage and interviews offering viewers an insight into the process of monument restoration, which took place at Villa Tugendhat in 2010–2012.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
