EXHIBITION ON THE TUGENDHAT VILLA IN DEBRECÍN

The Exhibition about Villa Tugendhat, prepared by the Villa Tugendhat Study and Documentation Centre, can be seen in the MODEM Gallery (Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art) in Debrecen from 19 August 2016. It is already the third location of the Hungarian travelling tour after Budapest and Pécs.

The exhibition was officially opened by Mayor Dr. László Papp, Deputy Mayor Lajos Barcsa, the Czech Ambassador to Hungary Juraj Chmiel and the director of Villa Tugendhat Iveta Černá, who also gave a lecture on the history and restoration of Villa Tugendhat.

The exhibition, organized in cooperation with the Czech Centre in Budapest, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 18 until 14 September. The exhibition will also include screenings of documentaries The Fate of Tugendhat and Villa Tugendhat: Conservation and Restoration 2010–2012 by Rudolf Chudoba.
