The last entrance tickets to the Villa can be purchased at the cash desk at 4.30 pm.

Guided tours begin at 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5  pm,

in the January–February period at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm. 

A maximum of 15 people are allowed in one tour group due to capacity  and safety reasons.

High heel shoes are not permitted in the Villa (in order to protect the natural linoleum floor).

 

TICKET RESERVATIONS

Due to great interest in tours we recommend to book your at least 2–3 months in advance.
Groups of 5 or more people need a reservation even more time in advance.

Online ticket purchasing is possible ONLY AT THE CASH DESK or through the ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM of the Brno City Museum which is located HERE.

 

GUIDED TOURS AND PRICES 

Villa Tugendhat offers visitors 2 types of tours of the interior along with a separate entrance to the garden.


I. BASIC tour
(the residential areas of the Villa, the garden) 

the 2nd floor – the so-called bedroom floor (the upper terrace, the entrance hall, the parents' section, the children's  section)
the 1st floor – the main living space, the preparation room, the kitchen
the garden (depending on the weather)

length: approximately 60 minutes

price: full entrance CZK 300
concessions CZK 180
family ticket (2 adults and 1 – 2 children under 15) CZK 690. 


II. EXTENDED tour
(the residential areas of the Villa, the technical facilities, the garden)

the 2nd floor – the so-called bedroom floor (the upper terrace, the entrance hall, the parents' section, the children's section)
the 1st floor – the main living space, the preparation room, the kitchen
the ground floor – the so-called technical floor (the engine room for air technology, the boiler room, the engine room for electrical retracting of the windows, the laundry room, the dark room, the fur coat storage room)
the garden

III. GARDEN
 (a tour of the garden is included in tours 1 and 2)

A time-unlimited ticket for the garden can be purchased for CZK 50 on opening days, by daylight and in suitable weather conditions.
The garden tour is without a guide.

- Pupils and students (up to 26, with valid student ID with photograph)
- Teachers and tutors (with valid ITIC card)
- Senior citizens from 60 years and ZTP and ZTP/P cardholders
- Children from 2 to 6: entrance fee CZK 20
- Family ticket: 2 adults and 1 – 2 children under 15

Free of charge:
cardholders of ICOM, Association of Museums and Galleries of the Czech Republic and Art History Association, accompanying persons with ZTP
Only Czech currency or debit/credit cards (VISA, MasterCard) can be used at the Villa Tugendhat cash desk.
Photographs in the interiors of the Villa (without the use of a flash and a stand) are only allowed after purchase of “a photo-ticket” for CZK 300 directly at the cash desk.


HOW TO GET TO VILLA TUGENDHAT

By public transport:
From the main railway station: tram no. 9 to Tomanova stop and from there along Tomanova street (approximately 20 min.) 

From the Zvonařka bus station: bus no. 67 to Schodová stop and from there up Schodová street and along Černopolní (approximately 20 min.)

From Česká street: trams no. 3, 5 to Dětská nemocnice stop and from there along Černopolní street (approximately 15 min.)

 

There is no designated car park in close proximity to the Villa. The closest possible parking is in the parking garage on Moravské náměstí (from there you can take a tram from the Moravské náměstí stop by tram to Dětská nemocnice stop and then approximately 10 minutes on foot to Villa Tugendhat).
