In the first half of the 2014/2015 school year, the Vila Tugendhat again offers regular educational programmes for pupils of kindergartens, primary, secondary schools and students of colleges and universities. In autumn of 2014, we have prepared a novelty in the form of two series of activity sheets in cooperation with Masaryk University which are intended either to be used during workshops in the villa (new programmes with Villa Tugendhat instructor) or at school (with the class teacher). The focus of the activity sheet covers topics suitable for groups from kindergarten to secondary school.

Through object-focused learning, the pupils and students are led to critical thinking and to the inclusion of the Villa Tugendhat and its creator in domestic and international cultural contexts. The instructor tries to present this significant work of architecture to pupils and students from different perspectives, depending on the particular type of programme selected by their teacher in advance.

The author of educational programmes and their implementer is Mgr. Alice Stuchlíková, Ph.D.

The programmes are designed for school groups and the capacity is therefore adapted to the number of students in one class. For safety reasons however, the group can not exceed 25 pupils / students.

The programme can be downloaded here
