THE SMALL VILLA IN SVITÁVKA

The so-called Small Villa was built in Svitávka in 1906. The commissioner was Alfred Löw-Beer, the father of Grete Tugendhat. The villa was designed by the Brno city architect Josef Nebehosten (1852–1921) renowned in particular for his reconstruction and expansion projects and realizations of the main Brno railway station over the years 1902–04.
