On Wednesday 24 September at 8 p.m., a film screening will take place in the main living room of the Villa Tugendhat. On 25 September at the same time the screening will take place on the technical floor of the villa, accompanied by live music by DJ Miloš Rejsek and Tom Holič.
A compelling Faustian work by master of German Expressionism (1926), built on a visual feast that very convincingly and credibly evokes many of the necessary medieval attributes. Jannings’ Mephisto gives everything to his devilish role of a seducer from hell and becomes perhaps the most remarkable feature of the whole film.
Ticket price to the Wednesday screening (24 September) is 200 CZK per person
Ticket price to the Thursday screening (25 September) with live musical accompaniment is 250 CZK per person.
