MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS – HOMMAGE À YEHUDI MENUHIN

MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS – HOMMAGE À YEHUDI MENUHIN

The key idea of this performance is to pay tribute and practically fulfil the legacy of 20th century genius violinist and teacher Yehudi Menuhin, which was to connect people from different countries through universal language – music, to higher spiritual goals. It is very distinctive that all three performers have met during their studies and their student friendship has grown into a long-term artistic collaboration that has given rise to the idea of realizing this concert. The International String Trio composed of Alexey Aslamas (violin), David Pokorný (violin) and Stanislav Vacek (violin) will present a unique programme made up of works by composers from different countries – France, Germany, Norway and the Czech Republic.
