
Brilliant movements from the D major Partita by master of counterpoint Johann Sebastian Bach frame refined French compositions by two of the most famous Baroque composers who created harpsichord pieces for the grand court of Versailles. At the heart of the program is a lively contemporary piece inspired by African rhythms, in which composer Peter Graham embedded the acronym BAMAWI as a personal dedication.
