Ivana Švestková has been the principal harpist of the Brno Philharmonic since August 2008, and since 2006 she has also regularly collaborated with the PKF – Prague Philharmonia. In 2011-2015 she worked with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra in Riga. In the 2013-2016 concert seasons she regularly collaborated with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern. She is a member of Ostrava Banda, an international orchestra focused on contemporary music. She participates in the Orquestrina project with the Baborák Ensemble. She collaborates with the Czech Sinfonietta founded and led by horn player and conductor Radek Baborák. In 2017 and 2018 she was occasionally invited to collaborate with the ORF- Radio Symphony Orchestra in Vienna. She is regularly invited to join the juries of international competitions.
