1) WHEN IS VILLA TUGENDHAT OPEN?
Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 6 pm including bank holidays.Guided tours begin at 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm.
2) WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VISITORS IN A GROUP?
A maximum of 15 people are allowed in one tour group due to capacity and safety reasons.
3) HOW MUCH DO TICKETS COST AND WHAT KIND OF TOURS ARE AVAILABLE?
Villa Tugendhat provides visitors with 2 types of tours of the interiors along with a separate entrance to the garden.
I. STANDARD / BASIC tour (the residential areas of the Villa, the garden)
the 3rd above ground floor – the so-called bedroom floor (the upper terrace; the entrance hall; the parent's section; the children's section)
the 2nd above ground floor – the main living space, the preparation room, the kitchen, the garden
length: approximately 60 minutes
price: full entrance CZK 300
concessions (students, senior citizens, ZTP-ZTP/P cardholders) CZK 180
family ticket (2 adults and 1-2 children under 15) CZK 690.
II. TECHNICAL / EXTENDED tour (the residential areas of the Villa, the technical facilities, the garden)
Extension of the 1st guided tour by the technical facilities of the Villa
(the engine room for air technology; the boiler room; the engine room for power retracting of the windows; the laundry room; the dark room; the storage place for fur coats)

III. GARDEN tour (tours of the garden are part of I and II tours)
A time unlimited ticket for the garden can be purchased for CZK 50 on opening days and with appropriate weather conditions.The garden is viewed without a guide.

High heel shoes are not allowed in the Villa (in order to protect the floor covering from natural linoleum).
4) CAN PHOTOGRAPHS BE TAKEN IN THE INTERIORS?
Photographs in the interiors of the Villa (without the use of a flash and a stand) are only allowed after purchase of “a photo-ticket” for CZK 300 directly at the cash desk.

6) TOURS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES?
The standard provided tour is in Czech or English.
A brief printed guide book in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French , Russian and Japanese is available during the tour.

7) IS THERE A LUGGAGE STORAGE FACILITY FOR DURING THE TOUR?
There are lockers available for visitors.
8) HOW DO I RESERVE A TICKET?
The reservation system only allows you to purchase tickets for concrete days and times.
Choose the date in the calendar.The offered tours and current number of free spaces will appear at the end of the page.
If certain tours are missing or if none are listed, Villa Tugendhat is closed to the public at that time.
If the required time is free, click at the end of the row on the item KOUPIT VSTUPENKY (PURCHASE TICKETS).
A page which allows you to choose the TYPE of ticket appears (full, discount, family) and the NUMBER of tickets.
YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT VALID AS YET!
The entrance ticket must be paid by means of the payment portal Go Pay, or by invoice.
If purchasing the tickets directly at the cash desk in Villa Tugendhat, payment can only be made in Czech currency or with a debit/credit card (VISA, MASTERCard)
9) HOW DO I RESERVE GROUP TICKETS?A maximum of 15 people are allowed in one tour group due to capacity and safety reasons.
Free places in the offered guided tours can be checked online by means of our reservation system on our pages rezervace.spilberk.cz
You need to choose a tour where 10 places are available. In cases such as these we will be happy to take reservations by telephone orders without the need to immediately pay the entire amount (tel. +420 515 511 015). We will adjust to your individual requirements on the basis of your order.
Entrance tickets which have already been sold cannot be cancelled due to organisational reasons. For this reason it is important to check the online reservation status.
In cases with LARGER GROUPS than 15 people, you need to determine the number of free spaces at the time you are interested in by means of the reservation system.
If you find 2 or more free tours after one another (with 10 free places), we are able to shorten by 20 minutes the interval between these guided tours. We are able to adapt the tour on the basis of your requirements.
Entrance tickets which have already been sold cannot be cancelled due to organisational reasons. It is therefore important to check the online reservation status.
Multiple entrance discounts are not available at Villa Tugendhat (except: concessions, family tickets, accompanying person with school groups).
10) CAN THE RESERVATION TIMES BE CHANGED?
It is NOT POSSIBLE to change the reservation time of already purchased tickets.
We can cancel the entrance ticket at your request. Cancellation is possible 5 days before the tour at the latest.
CANCELLING TICKETS
From our side (Brno City Museum):
- we cancel the purchased reservation/e-ticket
- we request return of the amount onto your account via Go Pay where the cancellation amounts to CZK 15 (which is subtracted from the overall paid amount)
From your side:
- the amount deducted by the payment of CZK 15 will be returned to your account within five working days
- if interested in another free time, you have to purchase another e-ticket /reservation
- if you would like to cancel or change the time of an already existing reservation which has not been paid yet, you need to do so at least a day ahead of time and only by telephone at +420 515 511 015
Other possibilities are not available at this time due to organisational reasons.
11) CAN YOU PARK AT VILLA TUGENDHAT?
There is not a designated car park in close proximity to the Villa. The closest possible parking is, for example, at the car park at BILLA supermarket on Drobného street (from there approximately 10 min. on foot to Villa Tugendhat) or in the parking garage on Moravské náměstí (from there from Česká or Moravské náměstí stops by tram to Dětská nemocnice stop and approximately 5 minutes on foot to Villa Tugendhat).
12) CITY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO VILLA TUGENDHAT?
Take bus no. 67 to Schodová stop from the main railway station and from there on foot up Schodová street and along Černopolní; take tram no. 9 to Tomanova stop and from there along Tomanova or Muchova street to Černopolní. You can also take trams no. 4, 12, 13 to Česká stop or no. 1 to Moravské náměstí stop and from here change trams to no. 3, 5, 7, 11 to Dětská nemocnice (Children's Hospital) stop and from there on foot along Černopolní street.

13) CAN WEDDINGS BE HELD IN VILLA TUGENDHAT?
Wedding ceremonies are not possible in VT until September 2013.
14) CAN COMPANY EVENTS BE HELD AT VILLA TUGENDHAT?
