OPENING HOURS

Because of huge interest in visiting the Villa Tugendhat we recommend to all visitors
to book the tickets at least 1 month in advance.

Tuesday - Sunday 10 am – 6 pm including bank holidays.

Guided tours begin at 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm.
A maximum of 15 people are allowed in one tour group due to capacity and safety reasons.

The last entrance tickets for the Villa can be purchased at the cash desk at 5.30 pm.

 

The Tugendhat Villa will be closed to the public from May 13th until May 20th 2013
due to complete maintenance of the premises. It is, therefore,
not possible to reserve or buy tickets for that week.

Guided TOURS and PRICES 

Villa Tugendhat provides visitors with 2 types of tours of the interiors
along with a separate entrance to the garden.
 

I. STANDARD / BASIC tour (the residential areas of the Villa, the garden) 
the 3rd above ground floor – the so-called bedroom floor (the upper terrace; the entrance hall; the parent's section; the children's section)
the 2nd above ground floor – the main living space, the preparation room, the kitchen, the garden
length: approximately 60 minutes
price: full entrance CZK 300
concessions (students, senior citizens, ZTP-ZTP/P cardholders) CZK 180
family ticket (2 adults and 1-2 children under 15) CZK 690. 
 

II. TECHNICAL / EXTENDED tour (the residential areas of the Villa, the technical facilities, the garden)
Extension of the 1st guided tour by the technical facilities of the Villa 
(the engine room for air technology; the boiler room; the engine room for power retracting of the windows; the laundry room; the dark room; the storage place for fur coats)
length: approximately 90 minutes
price: full entrance CZK 350
concessions (students, senior citizens, ZTP-ZTP/P cardholders) CZK 210
family ticket (2 adults and 1-2 children under 15) CZK 805
 

III. GARDEN tour (tours of the garden are part of I and II tours)
A time unlimited ticket for the garden can be purchased for CZK 50 on opening days and with appropriate weather conditions.
The garden is viewed without a guide.

concessions: students (valid student ID with photograph), senior citizens and ZTP-ZTP/P cardholders
family ticket: 2 adults and 1–2 children under 15
children from 2 to 6: fixed entrance fee CZK 20
free of charge: ICOM cardholders; Association of Museums and Galleries of the Czech Republic and Art History Associations; accompanying persons with a school group; accompanying persons with ZTP

Tickets for the Villa Tugendhat tour can be booked and purchased ONLY AT THE TICKET OFFICE (by phone or email).
Online ticket sale is also possible through the RESERVATION SYSTEM of the Brno City Museum which is located on their website.

 

Only Czech currency can be used at the Villa Tugendhat cash desk or debit/credit cards (VISA, MASTERCard).

High heel shoes are not allowed in the Villa (in order to protect the natural linoleum floor).

Photographs in the interiors of the Villa (without the use of a flash and a stand) are only allowed after purchase of “a photo-ticket” for CZK 300 directly at the cash desk.

 

 

HOW TO GET TO VILLA TUGENDHAT

Take bus no. 67 to Schodová stop from the main railway station and from there on foot up Schodová street and along Černopolní; take tram no. 9 to  Tomanova stop and from there along Tomanova or Muchova street to Černopolní. You can also take trams no. 4, 12, 13 to Česká stop or no. 1 to Moravské náměstí stop  and from here change trams to no. 3, 5, 7, 11 to  Dětská nemocnice (Children's Hospital) stop and from there on foot along Černopolní street.  

There is not a designated car park in close proximity to the Villa. The closest possible parking is, for example, at the car park at BILLA supermarket on Drobného street (from there approximately 10 min. on foot to Villa Tugendhat) or in the parking garage on Moravské náměstí (from there from Česká or  Moravské náměstí stops by tram to Dětská nemocnice stop and approximately 5 minutes on foot to Villa Tugendhat).
